So I no longer need Todoist to track 20-30 recurring items, something MS products were never particularly good at.

While my previous job saw me doing several repeated monthly tasks, my new role is more dynamic. So from this perspective, Todoist isn't as easy to use as it was before - the new Outlook add-in isn't the best and slows me down.Īnother way my life has changed is that I'm now in a different role at work. Also, gone are the options to use natural language to add the email as a task assigned to a project or priority - everything is now manual entry. Now, if I move the email to a different location from where the task was created, it craps out on me. I used to be able to create a Todoist task from an email, and from there, I could archive the emails when needed, move them to other folders, and the Todoist add-in would let me click the task and open said email every time. This means the Outlook add-in I've been using for years is broken. In light of that, I'm wondering if any of you have experienced something similar or have any input. I'm a happy customer, but my needs have changed somewhat.

So this isn't one of those 'goodbye forever' posts. I've been using Todoist for years and I love it.
